Soothe Me can be described as herbal after-bite salve, however is not limited in function. This formula is both soothing and calming to the skin, recommended for hot/inflamed, itchy, dry or irritated skin conditions.
Moringa is known as the "Tree of Life" and is the most nutritious plant on earth. It has been recognized over the ages for its healing properties. The leaf has been researched to enhance wound healing abilities when used topically. High in antioxidants, Moringa also has antibiotic, anti inflammatory, anti parasitic, and blood clotting properties. Moringa can help kill germs and help prevent infections from cuts, scrapes, wounds, & insect bites (mosquito, ant, chiggers, ect)
Plantain is noted for its soothing properties for insect bites and as a remedy for rashes and cuts. This common weed can be used in salves for a natural antibiotic ointment on cuts and bruises. Plantago has natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that could set the potential for faster recovery time of wounds, as well as reducing discomfort from itching or pain associated with skin problems.
Sunflower oil for the skin is beneficial for maintaining skin health, and skin repair. Sunflower oil contains vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin D, all which are very good for the skin. Also, it contains carotenoids that protect the skin & it's antioxidants may also defuse the effects of free radicals which often cause damage.
The antioxidant properties of Coconut oil come from its saturated fats like Capric Acid, Caprylic Acid, Caproic Acid, and Myristic Acid. Coconut oil also has antimicrobial & antifungal properties. It has been used to help treat many skin issues such as: rashes, eczema, psoriasis, athlete's foot, acne, ringworm, premature aging, bites, stings, burns, dermatitis, dry and flaky skin, varicose veins, cuts & scrapes.
Raw honey is both anti-bacterial & moisturizing. It can help protect against skin damage and promote wound healing. Raw honey is very soothing for burns and minor cuts/scrapes.
