Herbal Glycerites

A glycerite is an alcohol-free method of herbal extraction, utilizing glycerin and water. Food grade organic glycerin is a clear, colorless, odorless liquid with a sweet taste and the consistency of syrup. It is often chosen as an extract for those sensitive to alcohol. Glycerite formulas have a shelf-life of 14-24 months, whereas tinctures (alcohol-based) extracts can last 4-6 years if stored properly.

Our Organic Vegetable Glycerin is derived from organic vegetable soybean oil using environmentally friendly practices. Only non-gmo seeds are used. (Note: No soy proteins remain in the final product, therefore no allergen is present.) It is produced using the process of hydrolysis, which takes off the fatty acids, leaving pure vegetable glycerin.
