This biennial herb typically reaches heights of 3 to 4 feet and is characterized by its feathery, green leaves and small, white flowers that bloom in umbrella-shaped clusters.
Historically, Dong Quai has been a staple in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), where it has been used for centuries for its various properties. Often referred to as "female ginseng," Dong Quai is traditionally prepared as a decoction or infused in herbal formulations aimed at supporting women's health.
