Arnica cordifolia, commonly known as heartleaf arnica, is a perennial herb native to the mountainous regions of North America. It belongs to the Asteraceae family and is closely related to other arnica species known for their therapeutic properties. This plant typically features heart-shaped leaves and bright yellow or orange flowers, which bloom in late spring to early summer. Like its relatives, Arnica cordifolia is often used in herbal medicine, particularly for its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. It is commonly applied topically in creams, gels, or oils to treat bruises, sprains, muscle soreness, and other minor injuries.*
