The leaves also contain calcium, magnesium and potassium to help promote healthy digestion and strong bones. Raspberry leaf contains antioxidants to protect against free radical damage and is also very high in iron which can help to support the body with anemia. This herb is known as a women's herb with a long history of use during heavy bleeding menstruation, assisting in childbirth and postpartum recovery. They contain calcium, chromium, magnesium, niacin, phosphorus, potassium, thiamine and vitamin C. They are a rich source of isoflavones (compounds that act as phytoestrogens).
