Nettle leaf is known as nature's herbal antihistamine. Nettles can help bring relief to itchy, watery eyes, sneezing and runny nose. Nettle has anti-inflammatory qualities that may help prevent hay fever symptoms if taken when they first appear.

Peppermint acts as a decongestant, mild anti-inflammatory and used for its antibacterial properties.

Lemon Balm has powerful antiviral properties, is calming to the nervous system, and may help relieve headaches do to the common cold.Lemon balm's gentle nature uplifts the Spirit and it often used for support with anxiety.

Rosehips contain high amounts of vitamins that help fend off the common cold and flu. This tea contains particularly large amounts of vitamin C and vitamin A, which support the immune system. Rosehip tea boasts anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe stomach muscles to prevent stomach cramps, heartburn, and bloating. This tea also helps improve absorption of nutrients thanks to the high concentration of antioxidants.

Red rooibos is naturally caffeine-free and contains two bioflavonoids called rutin and quercetin. Both of these compounds block the release of histamine (the chemical our bodies produce in response to allergens).

Orange peels are rich in flavonones, powerful antioxidants that help reduce oxidative damage and fight free radicals. Orange peel contains natural histamine suppressing compounds. The peel also contains vitamins A & C, enzymes, fiber, and pectin. Vitamin C boosts the immune system to help fight the symptoms of cold and flu.

 

Organic Ingredients: Nettle Leaf (Urtica dioica), Peppermint (Mentha piperita), Rosehips (Rosa canina), Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis), Red Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis) & Orange Peel (Citrus sinensis)

 

Serving: 1 heaping tsp (or 1 TBS for stronger tea) to 6-8 oz. water
