Immune-ication Tea & Syrup Herbs

+

Our immune-ication herb pouch can be decocted as a strong tea or made into a DIY syrup.

Immune-ication Syrup is similar to our Elderberry Syrup, however this formula contains the added health benefits of reishi, rosehips, orange peel and osha. As an enhanced version of our existing formula, Immune-ication becomes a powerhouse of vitamins A & C, and now has added antibacterial, antiviral & antimicrobial properties.

Reishi mushrooms have the beautiful ability to boost energy levels, help detoxify the body & fight inflammation, Reishi is adaptogenic and helps one’s ability to naturally cope with stress levels allowing the body to return to a more relaxed state. Reishi’s anti-stress effects are believed to contribute to easing tension, strengthening and balancing the immune system.

Rosehips are the fruit of the rose bush. As to remind us of the fruits life has to offer...once we bloom and the layers are shed, the fruit offers itself to us. Rosehips contain high amounts of vitamins that help fend off the common cold and flu. This tea contains particularly large amounts of vitamin C and vitamin A, which support the immune system. Rosehips have anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe stomach muscles to prevent stomach cramps, heartburn, and bloating. This tea also helps improve absorption of nutrients thanks to the high concentration of antioxidants.

Black Elderberries are widely known for their immune boosting & anti-viral properties. This powerhouse of antioxidants can help support the body through issues such as the common cold, influenza cough and allergies. Elderberries are rich in flavonoids, and high in vitamins A & C, bioflavonoids, betacarotene, iron, and potassium. Elderberry is beneficial to the respiratory system by protecting and supporting the upper respiratory tract. Elderberry helps to reduce the swelling in mucous membranes, addresses difficulties related to sinus drainage. Elderberries also act as a mild anti-inflammatory.

Ginger Root has powerful anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antibacterial and anti-viral properties. It can help ease pain in the body, reduce irritation/inflammation or other discomforts caused by a cold or flu. It's expectorant properties loosen the mucus from lungs and sinuses. Its antispasmodic properties may help to reduce stomach cramping if flu symptoms are present.

The high concentration of vitamin C and vitamin A in orange peel helps strengthen your immune system.

Clove can help boost the immune system and help aid in digestion, while making the syrup extra tasty and flavorful.

Cinnamon helps to create movement in the sinus cavities when sinus congestion is present. Cinnamon is high in antioxidants, and has both antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Osha Root contains antibacterial, antiviral and antimicrobial properties and helps to bring relief to a sore throat and assists with persistent cough.

Raw Honey contains anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-microbial properties. Many studies have shown that it is effective at fighting both external and internal infections. Honey soothes the throat and acts as a cough suppressant. (Most of the honey you find in grocery stores is pasteurized. The high heat kills unwanted yeast, can improve the color and texture, removes any crystallization, and extends the shelf life. Many of the beneficial nutrients are also destroyed in the process.)
