Rosehips have a unique, sweet and tangy flavor. Rosehips are the fruit of the rose, reminding us of the sweetness of life. Reishi mushrooms help detoxify the body and fight inflammation. Turkey tail offers vitamin c benefits, fiber to promote gut health. In TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) it is used for its cleansing and detoxifying properties. Ancient Chinese formulations have long been believed to generally promote health, strength, and longevity. Laboratory studies suggest it may have anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiviral, and anti-tumor properties. Turkey tail mushrooms may help reduce chronic inflammation and aid in conditions such as physical discomfort, difficulty sleeping, digestive issues, fatigue and help enhance overall mood. They also contain prebiotics, the fibers that gut bacteria feed on to survive and thrive. Some studies have found that compounds in these mushrooms “led to clear and consistent microbiome changes consistent with its activity as a prebiotic.” While more studies are needed, turkey tails may be a way to improve your digestion, and in turn, your immunity.
